Luella’s Boudoir had a dream to open the most luxurious boudoir a bride could ever want. They asked us to create an identity which oozed sumptuous luxury yet was grounded with a hint of 1950s elegance.
We created an antique-styled logo formed by a silky ribbon; evocative of a lady’s basque, it also resembles a butterfly. A secondary layer of icons known as ‘confetti’ sit across the centre of the logo showing the range of products available. Two hummingbirds beating their wings form a monogrammed heart which completes the logo. A luminous pink was chosen to complement the aqua green. This, combined with illustrations of peonies and butterflies – reminiscent of 1950s wallpaper – provided the brand with its final abstract twist.
Brand / confetti icons / monogrammed crest / business cards / stickers / bespoke ribbon / gift box / boutique & gift bags…
“Voyage helped transfer the image of how we saw our business into a logo! We had lots of ideas but trying to gel them all together was the difficult part. Voyage took all our magazine cuttings, websites, shop signs and the emotional parts of our business and started to put them together in different formats... We soon discovered what we didn't want as much as what we wanted, which was something we hadn't thought about but Voyage helped us see. We now have an amazing brand that we, all our customers and suppliers just love! We always feel very proud handing over one of our beautiful bags!”
